Will eng4business work 4 me?

The first meeting is a consultation/planning session to discuss your aims and priorities and to assess your level of English comprehension so we may tailor your individual programme accordingly.

Coaching sessions are focused on the practical use of English in specific business and social situations and are designed to meet your individual learning needs and priorities.

Individual and group coaching sessions utilize task based role playing and practice in the appropriate use of English in “real life” situations to systematically increase your range of expression, comprehension, and self-confidence when using English in your business and social life.

Learning is situational based and will cover real life “task areas” such as:

  • Making personal introductions, projecting self confidence and self control
  • Using English in a variety of social and daily life situations
  • Describing your business, products or services
  • Selling to potential customers or clients
  • Caring for your customers and resolving customer complaints
  • Telephone and conference calls
  • Preparing for and participating in meetings
  • Preparing and delivering presentations
  • Being interviewed and, interviewing others
  • Negotiating with suppliers and potential clients
  • Report and letter writing
  • Preparing a CV

Each coaching session starts with a review from the previous one. The purpose of this is to ensure on-going development and further your self-confidence in managing “task areas”.
